Several photoshoots this month, and many home renovations besides. Enjoying my new studio workspace and am wrangling my weekly workload under control, OMG!

I have to say that Photoshop CS2 is changing my life for the better. It took me a while to come around, but Bridge is a vast improvement as an image manager. Planning to sit the ACE test in the new year. I've only been using Photoshop since version 3.0 so I'm not exactly an old-timer.

Good thing CS2 makes for a faster workflow, since my shoot on Tuesday was the first time I've shot over 1,000 images with a model. My poor little iBook was bursting! The Marvellous Marta came with costumes and practically performs in front of a camera. I only have to try and keep up! Some quick math reveals that using film would've cost me almost $500. Oh-em-gee indeed.

Have also enlisted my dear friend Nomi as a muse. I highly recommend having someone to work with regularly. Building trust, communication and creativity is a vital part of artistic development. Look for more of her gorgeous smile soon.

If you haven't heard about Agfa, you should. It's soon to be Ilford's market for darkroom supplies, which by the by is now Japanese owned.
